New features: synch mode and pinch valve

Ultrasonic oscillation can be synchronized with the suction action by selecting the "SYNC" setting in SUC/IRR (suction/irrigation) mode. This prevents excessive suction of CO2 gas during laparoscopic surgery.
The use of a pinch valve prevents damage of preserved nerves and blood vessels by inadvertent suction.

Newly added standby mode

Standby mode automatically stops irrigation and suction two minutes after ultrasonic oscillation stops. This avoids waste of normal saline solution.

The UST-2001 implements a number of proprietary Miwatec features. The multi-power system along with stabilized circuit topology and automatic frequency tracking ensure stable high output and enable optimum use of LT technology.

High level of safety

The UST-2001 is designed and manufactured to meet JIS and IEC standard requirements.
The UST-2001 for the domestic market is classified as a Class I CF type device and is usable for cardiac surgery.
(Classification for the overseas market is as a BF type device except for a few countries.)
